we were born in 1989, we are bodily in our 30s. mentally, we ageslide around and age regress (often influenced by headmates). we're autistic, disabled, fat, and queer. we're demiromantic, grey-asexual, objectum, and a lesbian. we're transgender in a genderfluid and genderqueer way. we're also xenogender in relation to our theriotypes, and autigender as our autism effects our gender perspective. we're a furry, a therian, and otherkin; we consider ourselves 'alterhuman' and 'transspecies'. we have multiple theriotypes, a few kintypes, and many kithtypes.obviously, we are plural and call our system 'the critter collective'. we're a mixed origin system; we don't use exact labels but can say our headmates formed due to a combination of abuse related trauma, struggles with depersonalization, derealization, and dissociation, and autism for the most part. we originally considered ourselves median and diversian as we do not experience amnesiac barriers, only experience co-fronting and not total switches, and definitely have some parts that are more like facets and are not differentiated much. however as we have explored this part of ourselves, some headmates we thought of potentially as median facets turned out to fully be distinct headmates and are increasingly able to communicate internally, have specific triggers to co-front, and we have learned to detect who is who more reliably. we now consider ourselves to be a mediple system, as some of our headmates are decidedly median facets while some are partitionary headmates.we are endogenic friendly and avoid syscourse. we are inclusive of good faith identities and labels around plurality, queerness, and alterhumanity. we are extremely kink positive and kink friendly. we are profiction / proship, and avoid fictional content that is triggering or uncomfortable without making it the problem of the creators.

headmates

mia (she/her). cat girl, very feminine. agesliding across a wide range, anywhere from 5 to 21, but most often around 15. along with agesliding does also engage with more direct 'age regression' for fun like ABDL, etc. overall encompasses memories and feelings related to our collective girlhood, including nostalgia for our toys, early real life and internet experiences, but also some experiences that would be out of canon for our timeline like enjoying more gen z targeted nostalgia. generally positive and excitable, tends to come out to co-front for good vibes, loud music, playing games and having fun. favorite colors are magenta and cyan.milo (he/she). little boygirl, trans masc and also trans fem, manifestation varies. usually a mouse but sometimes species fluctuates, usually to other rodents (rats, hamsters, gerbils, even sometimes into things like squirrels or even rabbits.) somewhat agesliding but generally stays young, between 2 and 5. does very, very rarely manifests as a teenager physically (around 14), but mentally can be a teen while physically still being young. very emotional and easily overwhelmed, the system crybaby. often comes to co-front during negative situations regarding our autism, and if we feel distress. experiences our meltdowns and shutdowns with us and has to be kept from head banging. favorite colors are baby pink and baby blue.dove (it/she). speciesfluid/shapeshifty; most often a rabbit girl but sometimes a sheep or goat girl. usually with wings, usually quadrupedal. often latches on to the core's fursonas and takes them on as herself, name and form changes when it does. contains some of our angelkin feelings. closest headmate to our 'core' self, often extremely blended, but does have distinctions and distinct modes of fronting. similar to mia, is attached to our collective girlhood and has a lot of nostalgia for our childhood toys and experiences, but in a calmer way and more from an age regression angle than an agesliding angle. also experiences a lot of our autism much like milo, but generally the more pleasant experiences. very stimmy, loves flapping its paws, loves researching special interests and infodumping. the headmate that comes up with a lot of our OCs and their lore with us. anxious and people pleasing. favorite colors are cornflower blue and mint green.nana (she/her). usually a 6 week old orange tabby kitten, occasionally a baby goat or lamb, always in a feral form. a former blend of mia and dove that introjected into a distinct headmate. personality is most similar to mia, but less intense, and more babyish. often engages in more animalistic, cat like behaviors. has less interest in toys and nostalgia, more interested in autistic behaviors like stimming similar to dove. loves chewing on things and babbling. favorite colors are periwinkle and peach.lydia (she/her). adult trans woman. her usual appearance in headspace is a plush cross fox x kangaroo hybrid. she is a caregiver, especially for other headmates who are small. a nonspeaking, motherly, comforting presence; can be called along in times of severe distress and manifests in some body sensations (ASMR like reactions). our first noticed headmate when we were a teen, potentially even a created parogen, someone we used to 'call upon' to take care of us after self harming. favorite colors are burgundy and dark purple.leo (he/him). trans masc lion. usually an adult, nebulously late 20s to current age (30s). very rarely ageslides younger, when he does it is usually to an age slightly older than other headmates currently being 'little', on average about 12-13. mostly nonspeaking, manifests more as 'vibes' or feeling of encompassing the body with his presence. very collected though not necessarily calm, can sometimes co-front to experience more internalized anger, but is usually just chill and somewhat dissociated. usually fronting when we're playing puzzle games. favorite colors are navy blue and sunflower yellow.hemlock (it/he). trans masc marble fox, sometimes arctic fox. adult. always a quadrupedal animal. cofronts to express autistic, animalistic joy. loves wagging, 4-paws dancing, making animal sounds (gekkering, yapping), play fighting, rolling around. enjoys spending time with the system littles, likes to play with them (gently). doesn't really verbally 'talk' much, mostly sends out vibes. favorite colors are orange and black.esfir (she/it). female brindle sighthound, either borzoi or silken windhound. adult. psychopomp/barghest, strongly attached to one of my OCs, a borzoi barghest named Altun, but not attached/associated with that OC's "lore" though clearly inspired by it. contains a some amount of divinekin, deitykin, and angelkin feelings and motifs. favorite colors are mahogany brown and gold.briar (it/she). female. adult. coyote, coywolf, or full wolf. always quadrupedal. talking animal. superficially comes across as polite, friendly, and kind to those it speaks to. however this is a masking behavior laid on top of a personality that in private is more aloof, misanthropic, and holds a lot of the systems alexithymia. often self critical and judgmental, it has high standards for the system's behaviors and actions that aren't easy to meet. very rejection sensitive. for some reason, littles in the system often seek out caregiving behavior from it which it hates, though it tries not to hurt them by denying the care they seek. favorite colors are forest green and maroon.thorn (it/its). shapeshifts to be relevant to the current headmate in the space that it is likely antagonizing, the only headmates it does not have a form for are various fragments and lydia. always a quadrupedal animal with golden eyes, black fur, and a white patch on its chest. it's usually a wolf or coywolf (for briar and the core self), a lynx (for mia, sometimes core self, and nana), a hare (for dove), a horned goat (for nana sometimes and dove sometimes), a rat (for milo), or a leopard (for leo). on its own it can be any form, usually defaults to wolf. deitykin. often edgy. used to purely be a highly judgmental persecutor and abuser alter when we were a teenager, has gained a lot of depth since then but still skews towards co fronting during negative situations. contains a lot of the system's anger and trauma. does enjoy tormenting headmates when they are vulnerable, but can be somewhat cartoonish about it and often easily told to fuck off by stronger willed ones. sadist, enjoys negativity, so it also shows up for schadenfreude, drama, and 'bitch eating crackers' types of situations. favorite colors are black and white.

adam (he/they). facet. trans masc black bear. at our bodily age. very calm and seems to be somewhat related to our 'autopilot'. quietly gets things done and leaves.jack (they/them). fragment. trans masc jackrabbit. always attached to adam, clinging to him at chest level. loves him very very much, never stops hugging him, nuzzling him, etc. also nonspeaking.rusty (he/him). fragment. a sort of occasionally clinger-on to milo. a teddy bear hamster boy around milo's same age who he can play with. patient and sweet, always up for whatever milo wants to do, just happy to keep him company. does not speak often and when he does is very quiet.winona (she/her) facet? american badger. grouchy, grumpy, growly, grumbly. the self at the most cranky. does no harm but takes no shit.willow (she/her). facet? plush silver fox, specifically a douglas sterling silver fox plush that i own and often bring around for comfort. as a headmate, seems somewhat related to lydia, perhaps just another manifestation of her? but often feels different. very rarely around as a headmate.
